'Till Everyman Is Free' Reviews
"Coati Mundi is some synth-out craziness aint it! It's like Grandmaster Flash had a love child with Afrika Bambaattaa that then went on to design a synth, and Coati Mundi is the demo for the world music sound bank. And that isn't a diss I tell thee. Everyman takes me back to when I was young & beautiful and my only care in the world was if I could go out to some sweaty warehouse and dance the night away. A time when everybody was positive and we really thought that music was going to save the world. A time when labels were what your mom sewed into your socks and ecstasy tablets were as big as wagon wheels. Yes mate. They're both really lovely tracks!" - Jim Le Grin O'Reilly
"Coati Mundi: Love the explosive, spacey intro with the cosmic drum fills. Feels in the same vein as GTFOOML, totally in the pocket, holding back, the track bursting with a stinking funk. Everyman: Fresh. Sparse. Feels dark. Hats all electric and fizzy. Leaning towards Burial in places but then drops unexpectedly in to a banger with the classic Chicago piano sound. On both you can feel the history, the pedigree, the classics; but you stay the right side of everything, keeping it fresh, keeping it new, keeping it!" - Steve Alcock.
"'Til Everyman Is Free,' is not only a superbly titled number but it's subtle but dramatic melody makes you feel the struggle that the title suggests. The legendary Sheffield DJ Parrot has turned in a sweet Crooked Man Remix that elevates it even further." - 1200dreams.com
"Who'd have thought a Brummy and Hull pairing could bring so much soul and groove to the dancefloor. Their heritage in and around the UK music scene for decades is unmistakable though and shines through here. 10/10" - Rhys Adams / Yesking.

'Out Of My Life' Reviews
"The original version of Out of my Life is a downtempo nu disco funker. There's a little electric piano and then twangy synth to lead the way. This has a curious Gallic charm, like it's drinking a small glass of red wine and smoking a rollie in a small town market square. Mono Life takes it away from such Provencal surroundings, in favour of the city lights. The key here is that he let's the funky bass and strings take this remix by the hand on to the dance floor. This is a late night remix for big city beautiful people. Mon dieu. C'est formidable." - Acid Ted

The War Bonnet EP
The War Bonnet EP was the first release by Chieftain... Ramp has a zombie disco/Hannulelauri type vibe with a soft brummy underbelly, Decimated Coconut sounds like it could be from circa 1995 Italian label Heartbeat, Kriegspiel is a heads down plodder with a lovely body and great build, and Scald The Fly is deep, loopy, emotional, and a bit trippy.

"I like the whole EP, Ramp has a zombie disco/Hannulelauri type vibe with a soft brummy underbelly, Decimated Coconut sounds like it could be from 1995 heartbeat records Italy. Kriegspiel is a heads down plodder with a lovely body & great build, but for me the stand out track is Scald The Fly, even just for the title. Superb, deep, loopy, emotional, a bit trippy, everything i ask for in a track. I shall play loud and often, on repeat." - Andy Roberts.

"It's a testament to how good each track is as from what I have read people are differing on the standout track's. For me it's a close call between Decimated Coconut and Kriegspiel.
