Steel Tiger was formed in late 2006 by Steve Cobby and Sim Lister: it is home to J*S*T*A*R*S, J J Fuchs, Peacecorps and The Cutler.

Upcoming projects are in the pipeline that flows freely between Hull and Sheffield.

For many years now, electronic music has been feeling the effect from the productions rolling out of a north east England town. In Kingston-Upon-Hull, Steve Cobby found inspiration and he remains put, writing, collaborating, and just enjoying life. His resume rings with a proven track record of achievements including over 15 years recording with David McSherry as Fila Brazillia and with Sim Lister and Jake Harries as Heights of Abraham. Throughout his career, Cobby proves that he is always up for trying something new and different. The Beat is The Law - Part One (2009)

Sim Lister is one of the musicians appearing in this documentary film, which focuses on the city of Sheffield and its evolving eighties music scene in Thatcher's Britain - and as the miner's strike began.

Pork is a resident DJ at The Lamp, Hull

Pork established Pork Recordings; a label specialising in electronica. It's most significant artists included Fila Brazillia, Baby Mammoth, Bullitnuts, and Leggo Beast.
